Your data
Privacy policy
We explain what data may arise when you use Opit.me, who receives it and the choices available to you.
1. Controller and contact
Opit.me is operated by the creators of Opitkowanie, based in Ireland. For privacy enquiries, email opitkovanie@gmail.com.
2. Technical data
The server may record standard logs, including IP address, request date and time, visited page, browser type and error information. These support security, diagnostics and website operation. Retention depends on the hosting configuration.
3. Email messages
When you email us, we process your address, message and information you choose to provide so we can reply and continue the conversation. Please do not send confidential information unnecessary for our response.
4. Google AdSense
The website includes Google AdSense code. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers and similar technologies to serve and measure advertising, prevent abuse and, where the required consent has been obtained, personalise ads.
Google explains how it uses data on partner websites in Business Data Responsibility. You can manage Google advertising preferences in My Ad Center.
For visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland, a certified consent platform is required when applicable to Google advertising. The Google privacy message must be enabled and configured by the publisher. Where available, use 'Privacy settings' to review your choices. The options and ad delivery may vary by region and consent.
5. YouTube videos
We do not load the player automatically. Clicking 'Play' connects your browser to Google's youtube-nocookie.com domain. YouTube may receive your IP address and device details and process them under its own policies. If signed in to Google, activity may be associated with your account.
6. Affiliate links
Some product links may be affiliate links, identified in the content. After a click, an external shop or affiliate network may store an identifier to attribute a purchase. External services operate under their own privacy policies.
7. Legal bases and rights
Depending on the circumstances, processing may rely on consent, legitimate interests in security and operation, performance of a contract or a legal obligation. People covered by the GDPR may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent.
Contact us to exercise your rights. You may also complain to the relevant supervisory authority, such as Ireland's Data Protection Commission.
8. Recipients and international transfers
Data may be processed by the hosting provider, Google and services needed for website operation or correspondence. Some may process data outside the EEA using the legal safeguards described in their documentation.
9. Changes
We update this policy when website features or requirements change. The version date appears above. Information about technologies stored in your browser is also in our cookie policy.
Language preference
When you choose PL or EN, we save that choice locally in your browser (opit-language). A later visit to the home page may open your chosen language. This setting is not sent to our server or used for advertising. The switch still works if storage is unavailable. We do not determine your country.
